Stagecraft for Trainers: Show Up, Stand Out, Spark Connection

It doesn’t matter if you’re delivering a workshop, hosting a webinar, or leading a training session on Zoom, you are stepping into a performance. ✨

And no—I don’t mean acting.

I mean showing up fully, with presence, intention, and the confidence to connect! 💫

For me, training has always felt like a kind of stagecraft. Not in the theatrical sense of playing a role, but in the deep, grounded way performers prepare, practice, and show up for their audience.

I didn’t always see it that way. But the longer I worked with trainers, facilitators, and leaders, the more I realized: the best ones don’t just present… they perform with purpose. 💭

If you’ve ever wondered how to feel less scripted and more real, how to handle nerves without being taken over by them, or how to truly connect with your audience (no matter the setting), then I wrote something just for you!

I break down what I’ve learned—from my background in performance and my years of virtual training design—into five powerful scenes that every trainer can use to show up more confidently and connect more deeply. 🎞️

And remember, in the end, great training isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being present.
And that’s a skill worth practicing! 🚀
